Leather seats are great to have because they are comfortable and definitely look great. However, their color also tend to fade over time. To keep them new after many years, it is important to learn how to care for your leather car seats.

Leather care might require some work but they are definitely not complicated compare to your car exterior. All you need to do is go through the same 3 step process: clean, repair and protect.

After a couple of years or some accident, there will be some wear and tear on your seats. For car leather seat repair, you can get your seats to the experts. If the damages are minor and you would like to do it yourself, you can look for suitable products to do it.

Protecting is also relatively easy compare to repairing. Get a good leather protectant or dressing and apply them on your leather seats. Video On Removing Clearcoat Scratches From Lamborghini

If you have read one of my article on car paint repair, you probably know that there are actually 2 kind of scratches: clearcoat scratches and deep scratches. the differences are:

Clearcoat scratches: can’t catch it with finger nail and the color of the scratch is the same as the car.
Deep scratches: can catch it with finger nail and the color of the scratch is NOT the same as the car. You can probably see a grey line or the bare metal of the car.

In short, clearcoat scratches are minor issues that can be removed with wet sanding and polishing. Deep scratches are serious issues which require touch up paint and polishing to eliminate them from the surface.
